AAAHC accreditation signifies that an organization has met nationally recognized standards for quality and patient safety. It involves a thorough review of the organization’s policies, procedures, and practices to ensure they meet or exceed established benchmarks. AAAHC accreditation demonstrates an enhanced commitment to delivering high-quality care.
The Endoscopy Center of New York takes pride in its recognition by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), a renowned authority in setting standards of excellence for gastrointestinal endoscopy. This recognition underscores ECNY’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety in our endoscopy unit. Through continuous staff education and strict adherence to ASGE’s rigorous quality improvement standards, we ensure that patients receive optimal care and outcomes during their procedures.
ECNY participates with the GI Quality Improvement Consortium (GIQuIC), a quality benchmarking registry sponsored by the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. The GIQuIC program allows participating centers to improve the quality of their endoscopic care by measuring and comparing their performance and outcomes against national benchmarks.
